PrimeNewsly, Yogi launches internship scheme in UP: In Uttar Pradesh, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has launched an internship scheme. Lakhs of students have been benefited from this. CM Yogi has given this information while addressing the people as part of Good Governance Day 2024. The Chief Minister said that under this scheme, final year research students in technical education or any higher educational institution will be given half the salary from the government and half the salary from the concerned industry if they do an internship with any other institution or industry. He said that a student can be made self-reliant by giving employment only during the last year of study. We are working in this direction.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath virtually addressed the 'Good Governance Day 2024' event held in New Delhi on Saturday. During this, he mentioned about the development and achievements in UP. Speaking at the Good Governance Day 2024 event, CM Yogi said that MSME clusters provide the base for a good industrial investment. UP was lucky in this regard, but these MSME clusters were lying neglected for decades. They had no technology, no market, no packaging facility, they were on the verge of ruin. We launched the One District One Product (ODOP) scheme in 2018 to promote MSMEs. Under this, today there is a unique product under the ODOP scheme in all 75 districts of the state. Through ODOP, we have revived 96 lakh MSMEs.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister highlighted the achievements of the BJP government in the state. The CM said that the establishment of good governance in the state has not happened suddenly. But for this, reforms have been made on a large scale. Earlier governments used to divide and cheat society on the basis of caste, creed, religion, region and language. But today the poor have been made self-reliant through various schemes. There was potential in the state earlier also, but the then governments did not make good use of it.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that in this year's budget, we have started a new program for new entrepreneurs. We will provide interest-free loans of up to Rs 5 lakh to those young entrepreneurs. Those who want to enter the industry with special skill training. Our target is to take this scheme to 1 crore young entrepreneurs every year. For this, we will provide assistance up to Rs 5 lakh in the first phase, Rs 7.5 lakh in the second phase and up to Rs 10 lakh in the third phase.
The Chief Minister gave details of various development projects in the state. He listed the work done in UP in infrastructure and connectivity. He also spoke about the law and order situation in the state. CM Yogi said that good governance does not come only from planning, but the way of implementation of schemes and its monitoring is very important. The government has made good use of technology. The government has established the rule of law without discrimination. The recruitment process in the state is transparent. MSME cluster has been strengthened. Traditional entrepreneurship was encouraged by bringing ODOP scheme. The Chief Minister also discussed the CM Internship Scheme, Pledge Park Scheme. The Chief Minister said that soon UP will become the first state in the country to have 21 airports. UP has the highest number of expressways.
UP has become a revenue surplus state by rising above the BIMARU state. Today there is a better environment for industrial investment in the state. An investment proposal of Rs 40 lakh crore has been received at the UP Global Investors Summit. This will provide employment to more than 1 crore 30 lakh youth. The ground-breaking ceremony is scheduled to take place on February 19 in the presence of the Prime Minister. In this, industries worth Rs 10 lakh crore will be set up.
