The Redmi Buds 5 comes in Fusion White, Fusion Purple, and Fusion Black colour options. The new earbuds are priced at Rs. 2,999. The product will be available for sale on Amazon India and Xiaomi's online store. The new Xiaomi Buds will go on sale from 20 February, 2024.
Xiaomi is not a popular brand in India's Earbuds market. Xiaomi has launched quite a few earbuds in India. This time too, the company has targeted customers falling in the range of 3000 through its new earbuds.
The Redmi Buds 5 comes with 12.4 mm dynamic drivers with a frequency range of 20Hz to 20kHz.
It comes with features like Xiaomi Golden Ears Team, Vocal Enhancement, Terrible Boost, and Bass Boost through EQ sound effects. Xiaomi's new earbuds feature noise cancellation of up to 46 decibels. This means that users will not get outside sound easily while using these earbuds.
Xiaomi has given a 54mAh battery in these earbuds, each of which gives a backup of 10 hours. At the same time, its charging case comes with a 480mAh battery, which gives 40 hours of backup. It also comes with 8 hours of noise reduction. The earbuds use a Type-C port for charging, and the company claims that users can listen to music for up to 2 hours on charging it for just 5 minutes. The company has used IP54 dust and splash proof technology to protect the device from dust and sweat or water splashes.

For the earbuds, Xiaomi has used its company-developed anti-wind noise algorithm, dual microphones, and AI noise cancellation. The earbuds come with three different modes for noise cancellation and transparency mode.
