According to media reports, a technical issue related to a US-based cybersecurity firm called Crowdstrike caused a glitch in laptops working on Microsoft around the world on Friday.

CrowdStrike has updated a software, CrowdStrike Falcon, which is believed to be the cause of the global outage. Australia's National Security Coordinator said on social media that it was caused by a technical issue with a third-party software platform.
CrowdStrike Falcon is the first and only software to bring together a next-generation antivirus, endpoint detection and response (EDR) and 24/7 threat hunting service.
