Vivo has launched a new 5G smartphone under the Y series in China. The latest smartphone has been introduced as a successor to the Y100i series that was launched in November last year. The smartphone comes with a new design and lots of new features.

The 5G phone was launched in Blue, Glacier White, and Midnight Black colours. The pre-orders for the same will start from on April 20 and the sale for the same will start from April 27. Its price starts at CNY 1,599 (~ $225) for the 8GB + 128GB. The 12GB + 256GB is priced at CNY 1,799 (~ $253) and the 12GB + 512GB storage variant is priced at CNY 1,999 (~ $281).
The smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC. The phone runs on OriginOS 4 based on Android 14. It has 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage. It also comes with 12GB of virtual RAM. The smartphone features a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. There's an 8MP front-facing sensor for selfies and video calling.
