Royal Challengers Bangalore won the 2024 Women's Premier League. RCB won their maiden IPL title under the leadership of Smriti Mandhana.
In the final played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on March 17, Bangalore defeated Delhi Capitals by 8 wickets to win the championship.
With this, Bangalore not only got a glittering trophy, but also a strong prize in the team's pocket. RCB won Rs 6 crore.
Ellyse Perry played a key role in RCB's victory. Perry top-scored with 347 runs. She received CAP and Rs 5 lakh.
RCB's young spinner Shreyanka Patil took the most 13 wickets, for which she received Rs 5 lakh along with Purple Cap. She also became an Emerging Player and got 5 lakh for this too.
The star of the final was the same RCB spinner Sophie Molineau, who took 3 wickets and a run out in same over. She was got the Man of the Match with the Rs. 2.5 Lakh.
Indian all-rounder Deepti Sharma of UP Warriors scored 295 runs and also took 10 wickets She was named the Player of the Tournament and was paid Rs 5 lakh.
