During Navratri, devotees eat buckwheat Flour (Kuttu Atta). This flour gives you nutrition and energy but apart from this, it is also harmful for some people.
Although kuttu flour is beneficial for health, if it is eaten in the wrong way, you can get food poisoning.
During the fast, we drink very little water and eat things made from kuttu flour, which the body needs more water to digest. This can cause dehydration after eating.
Eating things made from kuttu flour can cause acidity problems for some people. People who are often troubled by gas, can cause headache and heartburn.
Avoid eating anything new if you have sensitive skin or are suffering from skin allergies. This can increase the risk of allergies.
If you have weak muscles or suffer from hyperkalemia, you should avoid things made from kuttu. The potassium present in it can prove to be harmful for you.
Do not eat things made from kuttu flour every day, by eating it continuously, you can become a victim of food poisoning.
Also, drink as much water as possible after meals, or use curd along with the Kuttu aata to digest the foods.
