T20 World Cup 2024 contenders have been finalized and Uganda joined Namibia as a qualifying team to surprise cricket fans around the globe.
It is the first time 20 teams will participate in a Cricket World Cup tournament and compete for the trophy.
The 2024 T-20 World Cup will be played in West Indies and the United States of America.
There will be four groups of 5 teams in this tournament and the top two-performing teams will move to the super-8 round of the tournament.
India, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Australia, England, Canada, Ireland, Pakistan, New Zealand, South Africa, Sri Lanka, and West Indies are top contenders for the trophy.
Cricketers from Nepal, Namibia, Netherlands, Oman, Papua New Guinea (PNG), Scotland, Uganda, and United States of America (USA) will compete with the top teams to emerge victorious.
The Ugandan team became a part of the T-20 World Cup by beating Tanzania, Nigeria, Zimbabwe, and Kenya in their fixtures.
Namibia is one of the top two teams from the Africa region qualifiers for the World Cup 2024.
Team India is currently leading the ICC T20 team rankings and it is certainly the top contender for winning the trophy.
The T20 World Cup 2024 will begin from June 4, 2024 and teams will play several more matches this time to entertain millions of cricket fans.
