Kolkata Knight Riders co-owner Shah Rukh Khan wants Rinku Singh to be included in the Indian team for the upcoming T20 World Cup.

Rinku, who is in contention for a place in India's 15-member squad for the T20 World Cup to be held in the US and West Indies in June.

He has has scored two half-centuries in 15 T20Is for India and has a strike rate of over 176.

"I wish Rinku gets a place in the World Cup squad and also some other youngsters from other teams, some of them deserve it, but my personal wish is that Rinku gets a place in the team.

Rinku and Shivam are in contention for a place in the Indian team. If Hardik is not selected, then both Rinku and Shivam can be selected.
