As per Nawaz, "There are over 30 bathrooms in the house, but Gautam insisted he wanted to use the one I used. The argument escalated into an assault. He smacked and kicked me and even assaulted my daughter. My back got injured,"
Gautam punched and kicked me. The shocking allegations by his wife happened around 5 am after Gautam's birthday bash. She said Gautam kept assaulting her and Niharika for 15 minutes by punching them. Additionally, he flung Nawaz around the room several times, and mother and daughter tried to protect each other.
She added that after punching and throwing, Gautam suddenly disappeared from the scene, which made her believe he must be out to get his guns.
At this time, when her daughter wanted to call the police, Gautam said that there would be no use in calling the police as they would not help her. "Everyone is in my pocket," Singhania reportedly told Niharika. However, Nawaz later registered a non-cognizable complaint.
Owing to the back injury after the assault, Nawaz had to be admitted to the hospital. She left the house with her two daughters and has been living with her parents since then. She told the press, "I have been pursuing legal recourse, the exact details of which I cannot share now. The lawyers on both sides have been trying to reach a settlement, and I have been only asking what's fair and just for me and my kids."
Regarding the wife's allegations, Gautam Singhania has released the statement, "In the interest of my two beautiful daughters, I would like to maintain my family's dignity and I will refrain from offering any comment. Please respect my privacy."
