The elite actor Ranbir Kapor, Aka Shiva from the Movie Brahmastra that managed to cross the massive collection of 400 crores worldwide in just three weeks, has recently broken the silence on the upcoming part 2 of the Brahmastra movie: “Brahmastra Part Two: Dev”.
There are a lot of speculations and rumours flowing around in the media and industry relating to the grand movie release of Brahmastra Part 2, budget, cast, script and many more.
It has been determined by the statement from the star actor, Ranbir Kapoor himself, that Brahmastra movie part 2 is going to be even more grand and lavish than the initial part in all aspects from budget to writing to even the Brahmastra part 2 cast team.
He mentions that “Brahmastra part 2 is heavy into writing, and we are working on it all the time. Last week, Ayan narrated the film to me, and he has gone 10 times bigger than part 1 in his idea, the thought process, and the characters.”
The most awaited film, Brahmastra Part 2’s release date is still under speculation. However, Ranbir Kapoor in his recent interaction with Fans Via Zoom did disclose that the shooting of this film would start at the earliest.
The Film’s shooting inception can be expected by the end of the next year, that is 2024 or at the beginning of the 2025.
The Star Actor, Ranbir Kapoor is over the edge in his schedule for shooting of “War 2”.
Ayan had mentioned in his April 2023 interview that the “Brahmastra Part Two: Dev” will be released by the end of 2026 followed by the launch of Part 03 in 2027.
Perhaps, the shooting of both parts is going to occur simultaneously as he states, “We will make Brahmastra 2 and 3 together. The truth is we are going to take a little bit of time to write it. I know there’s a lot of anticipation”.
As the film is going to add 10x times more entertainment in writing, visuals and Characters, it is for sure that fans will have to hold on to their excitement for a little longer.
The cast of Brahmastra Part 2 has to be a massive reveal. To the righteous information, it is confirmed that Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will remain the Main Lead in Brahmastra Part Two: Dev.
Alongside, Ranbir Kapoor will be seen playing a double role of “Dev” (Shiva’s Father) accompanied by his love interest Dev’s wife Amrita as Deepika Padukone.
There’s a huge wave of rumours stating that Hrithik Roshan and Ranveer Singh are to be seen in Part 2 of Brahmastra movie, but there is no official word out yet.
According to reports, Hrithik Roshan was offered a key role in the sequel but declined because he is already working on two VFX-heavy films, Krrish 4 and Ramayana.
The exclusive visuals and Reshoots shown in the Bharamastra Part 1, made it the most expensive Hindi film ever at the time of its release.
Given the huge star cast and enhanced storyline in the Brahmastra Part Two: Dev, there’s no doubt that the budget will surely cross multiple folds above Rs 410 crore indian rupees, the First part budget.
Ayan Mukherji directed the first part of Brahmastra along with co-writer Hussain Dalal. Karan Johar, Hiroo Yash Johar, Ayan, Apoorva Mehta, Namit Malhotra, and Marijke Desouza finance it through Star Studios, Dharma Productions, Prime Focus, and Starlight Pictures.
There is no official information passed regarding Brahmastra part 2 release date OTT or Brahmastra Part 2 release date in India. Since the Movie is speculated to have released in December 2026, the online OTT release will be marked near to that date only.
