Simple Dot One Electric Scooter: 

The competition in the electric scooter segment continues to grow. Simple Energy, a Bengaluru-based start-up, has introduced its second electric scooter Simple Dot One in the domestic market today. With the introduction of the new electric scooter in the market, the competition between Ola and Ather has become even tougher. In fact, the company has offered this scooter at a starting price of Rs 1 Lakh for pre-booking devices. Customers can book the car on the company's official website.

At the moment, the company has introduced this scooter with an introductory price, which will be applicable to the vehicles already booked. The company will definitely increase its price in the near future. Its prices for new customers will be announced in the month of January. The company has introduced the Dot One Electric Scooter Price with a fixed battery back, which was also seen in its first scooter.

Simple Dot One Electric Scooter Price:

In recent times, some of the electric-two-wheeler manufacturers have introduced affordable versions of their popular electric scooters in the Indian market. These include the Ather 450S, Ola S1 Air and Ola S1X. Along with, now Simple Energy has also launched the Simple Dot One e-scooter in India at a price of Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). This is an introductory price tag for pre-booked Simple One customers, especially in the city of Bengaluru.

Battery Life and Performance:

In Simple Dot One, the company has given a battery pack of 3.7 kWh capacities, which is claimed to give the scooter a driving range of up to 151 kilometers in single charge. The Simple Dot One os available in a total of 4 colours (Namma Red, Brazen Black, Grace White and Azure Blue), the Dot One comes with a 750W charger. It is announced that the company will deliver the scooter in a different phased, i. e. the scooter will reach the customers in a phase wise. Firstly, the delivery will be started in Bengaluru city.

40 Kmph Speed in 2.77 Seconds

The company has used an electric motor of 8.5 kW capacities which generates 72Nm of torque. A specially designed tubeless tyre has been used for this scooter, which is offered with 12-inch wheels base. The company claims that the scooter can accelerate from 0 to 40 km per hour in just 2.77 seconds.

The scooter comes with up to 35 kg of under-seat storage. Apart from this, a touchscreen instrument cluster and app connectivity to operate other features have also been provided.

Other Features

The company's entry-level scooter is equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen instrument screen, which is not seen in most of its competitors, including the Ather 450S and Ola S1 Air. The console also supports mobile connectivity.
