It is an Indian telecommunications company which is located at Navi Mumbai. It covers across all 22 telecom circles and operates national LTE network.

Till date it offers 4G services all over India and 5G services in some places. It is now working on 6G model.

It is the third largest mobile network operator in the world. In India it is the largest mobile network operator.

Reliance Jio World Plaza Mall

Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) is almost ready to open Jio World Plaza on October 31 and opens doors to the public on November 1. It is a retail mall which is spread across 7.50 lakh square feet in Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC). It is India’s costliest commercial business area in Mumbai.

Jio Indusries is marking a fresh destination for up scaling shopping. Jio world plaza will include all luxury brands such as Balenciaga, YSL, Tory Burch, and Versace, which results in expansion of India’s customer base.

"Our envisioning of Jio World Plaza is aimed at bringing the best global brands to India, as well as highlighting the prowess and craftsmanship of top Indian brands, to create a very unique retail experience," said Isha M Ambani, director, Reliance Industries Ltd., in an interview. "Our pursuit of excellence, innovation, and enhancing customer experience continues to propel us in every venture," she added.

"The Jio World Plaza is more than a retail destination; it's an embodiment of aesthetics, culture, and leisure," Ambani added the statement.

It is situated at Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC). The Jio world plaza is integrated with the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre, the Jio World Convention Centre and the Jio World Garden as per the company statement.

Jio world plaza is spanning four levels and a vast 750,000 square feet. Jio world plaza deals with an array of 66 luxury brands. Its interior and architecture, drawing is inspired from lotus flower and nature. It was initiated after collaboration between international architectural firms TVS, which is US based with the Reliance team. 

This plaza offers a premium shopping experience including modern sculpture top tier restaurants and a food section.

It also provide their customers with personal shopping assistants, VIP concierge, taxi services, and wheelchair facilities, hands-free shopping, and much more.

The main motive of this plaza is designing a hub for of retail, leisure, and dining experiences to the people. The JWP will host several global brands making their debut in India.

For international customers to the Indian market which includes Balenciaga, Samsung Experience Centre, EL&N Café, the Giorgio Armani Café, Pottery Barn Kids and Rimowa. Also, In Mumbai these are the first stores of Valentino, Versace, Tiffany, Ladurée Tory Burch, YSL, and Pottery Barn. It also includes other iconic brands like Louis Vuitton, Cartier, Bally, Giorgio Armani, Dior, YSL, Gucci, and Bulgari.

Designers such as Manish Malhotra, Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla, Rahul Mishra, Falguni and Shane Peacock, and Ri by Ritu Kumar are now based in Jio World Plaza. Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, a fashion designer, presented classic minimalism to the grand opening of this historic venue.

Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Sara Ali Khan's unquestionable style lit up the runway. Shehnaaz Gill, Aashim Gulati, and international model Rahi Chadda joined them with the most appeal.

The "La Belle Epoque - The Beautiful Age" collection honors the brand's 38-year history in the fashion industry and the remarkable accomplishment of the Reliance Industry in introducing the most sought-after labels to our nation.

To this aim, the new boutique is designed in accordance with LEED rules and principles.
  • The largest foreign luxury store in India, spanning more than 7,000 square feet, is being announced by French luxury fashion label Louis Vuitton at JWP, further increasing the Maison's footprint in the country and throughout South Asia.
  • The Reliance team worked with TVS, a renowned worldwide architecture and design firm with its headquarters in the United States, to create the Plaza's structure, which draws inspiration from the lotus flower and other natural aspects. The combination of marble floors, tall vaulted ceilings, and a tasteful use of soft lighting creates a setting that perfectly captures the spirit of luxury.
  • Isha Ambani's vision has served as the foundation for JWP, with the client experience at its heart. The Plaza strives to give customers the best possible shopping experience, from the modern sculpture by Jitish Kallat that greets guests on the ground floor to the entertainment options on the third floor that include world-class restaurants, a multiplex theater, and a carefully curated gourmet food emporium.
