Realme has launched a new smartphone in its GT series in China. This phone has been equipped with many upgrades and AI features. The phone, which came as a successor to the GT5 launched last year, is set to go on sale from July 15. It will be launched in other markets in the coming weeks.

Realme has launched the Realme GT 6 series in China. The latest phone has been brought as a successor to the GT 5, which was launched last year. The new phone comes with many new and upgraded specifications compared to the previous one. The latest offering has flagship specifications and features. It is expected to be rolled out in other countries in the coming weeks.
The design of the Realme GT 6 has been completely changed. It comes with a great design. The phone comes with a flat frame and a rectangular camera module at the back. The back panel also gives a dual-tone look due to the dark and light shades of the same colour. It also comes with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
It is available in Storm Purple, Light Ear White, and Dark Side of the Moon colour options. Dark Side of the Moon comes with several gradient textures similar to the surface of the moon on the back panel. For this, the sale is going to start from July 15 in China
The starting price of the smartphone is CNY 2,799 ($385) for the base 12GB + 256GB variant. The 16GB + 256GB and 16GB + 512GB options are priced at CNY 3,099 ($426) and CNY 3,399 ($467), respectively. The top-end 16GB + 1TB variant is priced at CNY 3,899 ($536).
Realme's flagship phone has been launched in China with a 6.78 -inch BOE S1 + AMOLED panel display. It has a resolution of 2,780 x 1,264 pixels. The screen features Pro XDR, 120Hz LTPO refresh rate, 6,000 nits of peak brightness, an integrated fingerprint scanner, and 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming.
The Realme GT 6 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. It comes with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. It also has an aerospace-grade aluminum frame and thermal insulation that helps keep temperatures down.
This includes IR control, an X-Axis linear motor and sky communication system with 5.5 GHz network and WiFi-7 protocol.
The phone runs on Android 14 based Realme UI 5. It also has many AI features like AI Portal, AI Call Summary, AIGC. The device also comes with gesture control.
There is a dual rear camera setup at the back that includes a 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. For selfies, there's a 16MP snapper.
