Railway Employee Bonus 2023 is an enticing gift from the Modi Government for non-gazetted railway employees. Announced on 18.10.23, Railway Employee Bonus News is said to benefit more than 11.07 lakh employees of the Indian Railways. As per the Railway Employee Bonus 2023 notification, the non-gazetted employees of the Indian Railways shall receive a bonus equivalent to 78 days of their salary.

Productivity Linked Bonus equivalent to 78 days wages of the non-gazetted employees of the Indian Railways has been announced by the central government. Railway Employee Bonus News 2023 is a move to motivate the employees of the government transporter to work towards excellence in services.
An official statement from the government said that the performance of Railways was extraordinary during 2022-23. Approximately 6.5 billion passengers were ferried to their destinations through Indian Railways and 1509 million tonnes of cargo was transported by the national carrier. It is in appreciation of such exceptional services that the Railway Employee Bonus 2023 notification has been released.
Railway Employee Bonus 2023 is equivalent to 78 days of wages of all the eligible non-gazetted Railway employees. There is no ceiling on the wages for eligibility for the financial year 2022-23. In cases where the salary exceeds INR 7000 per month, the Productivity Linked Bonus shall be calculated according to INR 7000 per month.
Those non-gazetted employees who hadn’t quit/ expired or retired from the services during 2022-23 or were on official leave where the admissible salary for leave is not less than what is admissible on leave on average pay shall be paid INR 17951 as Railway Employee Bonus 2023.

Approximately 1107346 railway employees shall be benefited from the Railway Employee Bonus 2023.
It is estimated that the total cost of the Railway Employee Bonus 2023 shall be around INR 1968.67 crores.
The Railway Bonus 2023 date hasn’t been circulated yet, though it is speculated that the funds shall be transferred into the accounts of the eligible employees after Dussehra 2023.
