Its processor cannot be called very special and new, but it looks justified with the price point.
It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700.5 G SoC, coupled with a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It runs Android 13-based ColorOS 13, which is the same as seen on other budget phones from the company.
It comes with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. However, you can expand the storage on the phone via a microSD card slot. It also comes with 8GB of RAM, which is expandable.
It packs a massive 5,000mAh battery with 33W SuperVOOC fast charging support. You can get through the day with half an hour of charging. The Oppo A 78.5 G has a dual rear camera setup. It has a 50-megapixel primary camera with f / 1.8 apertures and a 2-megapixel macro lens.
The Oppo A 78.5 G features a 6.5 -inch HD + LCD display. It has a 90Hz refresh rate, 480 nits brightness, and 96 percent color gamut. It has a resolution of 1612x720 pixels and supports 269ppi.
