Munjya shows the story of a Brahmarakshas, who is troubled to get married. The film has comedy as well as horror elements which add to the entertainment quotient of the film.

What's the story Plot?

The story of Munjya is set in Pune and the Konkan region of Maharashtra and is based on Indian folk tales. In the film, a Brahma demon named Munjya suddenly wakes up and wreaks havoc in Bittu's (Abhay Verma) life. The matter worsens when Munjya's eyes fall on Sharvari Wagh and he insists on marrying her. Munjya is another addition to Maddock Film's horror comedy universe, which includes Stree (2018), Roohi (2021) and Bhediya (2022).

Munjya kept up the business in the Monday Test and kept up the pace by earning 4 crores. At the same time, the collection on Tuesday was 4.15 crore. According to early estimates, the film collected Rs 2.68 crore on its sixth day. With this, in 6 days of release, Munjya has earned about 30.08 crores at the domestic box office.
