"Monkey Man" was released worldwide on April 5. The film was supposed to hit the screens in India on April 19, but before it could hit the screens, there was a controversy and the film was postponed. The CBFC did not give the green signal to the film because it contained too much violence, intimate scenes, Hindu religion and mythology. That's why the film hasn't released yet.
According to Variety, the film will be released in India in 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray on digital streaming platforms from June 11. The DVD version will be available on June 25. After a long wait, Monkey Man is all set to hit the OTT platform. The film will stream on the OTT platform Peacock TV on June 14.
