Batting first, Hyderabad scored 173 runs, in reply, Mumbai achieved the target in just 17.2 overs. The big thing is that Mumbai's 3 wickets fell for just 31 runs, but after this, Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Verma made an unbeaten partnership of 143 runs to win the team.

Mumbai did not have a good start, and lost 3 wickets in the powerplay itself. Chasing the target, Mumbai lost the wicket of Ishan Kishan in the second over. He could only score 9 runs. SRH team could not stand against Pandya Chawla's bowling

With the help of century, Suryakumar Yadav also played a key role in Mumbai's victory. Hardik Pandya and Piyush Chawla took 3-3 wickets each. Chawla scalped the wickets of Travis Head and Heinrich Klaasen as Hyderabad's hopes of reaching a big total were dashed. Jasprit Bumrah also picked up a wicket, giving away just 23 runs in his 4 overs. Travis Head top-scored for Hyderabad with 48. Pat Cummins remained unbeaten on 35 off 17 balls. SRH’s Bhuvneshwar Kumar took one wicket for 22 runs in 4 overs. However, Hyderabad lost the match. Hyderabad now have 12 points from 11 games.
