PrimeNewsly: Some time ago, KTM bikes were common on Indian roads, which were less liked by young people. But recently there has been a report that there is more demand for the bike sale in foreign countries as compare to India. In today story, Let's discuss about it.

KTM, a two-wheeler manufacturer, sells are less in India and more abroad. In November 2023, KTM had sold 5,287 units in the Indian market and 6,454 units in the overseas market. The popular export 390 range of 2,955 KTM has been shipped out of India. The 390 range contributed 45.79 per cent to the total exports. The 390 range registered a year-on-year growth of 83.43 per cent as compared to 1,611 units shipped last year.

At the same time, there was an increase of 5.72% MoM compared to 2,795 units shipped a month ago. The model registered a volume gain of 1,344 units on a YoY basis and 160 units on a monthly basis (MoM).

The KTM Company exported 1,247 of the 250 range and 1,234 units of the 125 range. The 250 range witnessed an astounding growth of 155.6% YoY as well as 37.03% MoM growth, the 125 range is not far behind, while the 125 range witnessed 71.39% YoY growth and 83.63% MoM growth.

KTM RC 390 GP: 373.2 cc engine

The engine specifications of the KTM RC 390 GP Edition are the same as the recently updated RC 390. The KTM RC 390 GP is powered by a 373.2 cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine. It comes with a 6-speed gearbox. It has disc brakes at both the front and rear. It weighs 175 kg.

KTM 200 Sales Figure

KTM's 200 range contributed the least in the export market with shipments of 918 units, a decline of 74% year-on-year (YoY) and 66.91% month-on-month (MoM). Overall, KTM exports stood at 6,454 units, which is more than what KTM India sold in the domestic market Exports grew by 1.02% YoY and 29.08% MoM.

Demand in India and Abroad

The Indian market continued to be dominated by KTM's 200 range, which achieved sales of 2,777 units in November 2023 with a year-on-year growth of 21.11 per cent and remained the best-selling model in India. At the same time, if we talk about exports, then the 390 range remained in the foreign market, which alone contributed 45.79%. The 390 range registered a year-on-year growth of 83.43 per cent as compared to 1,611 units shipped last year.

KTM Bike Price

The KTM RC 390 GP is priced at Rs 3,16,070 and the KTM RC 200 GP is priced at Rs 2,14,688 in Indian Market. The good point is that the price of the latest GP models is the same as the previous models. The latest bikes have entered the market with a more aggressive design and great looks in comparison to previous model.
