Kawasaki Z650RS Launched in India: The Z650RS comes with a 2-mode traction control system. The addition of the traction control system has made the model even safer. This system prevents the bike from slipping, especially on wet roads. Apart from this, no other changes have been made to the motorcycle.
The Z650RS is designed on a tubular diamond frame. It features round headlamps, single-piece seats, semi-analog and digital instrument cluster. In the Indian market, it is available only in a single colour - Metallic Matte Carbon Grey.
Kawasaki Z650RS Engine and Specification
The Kawasaki Z650RS comes with telescopic forks at the front, which can travel up to 125mm. At the same time, there is a monoshock absorber at the rear, which can travel up to 130mm.
Braking duties are handled by dual 272mm discs at the front and a single 186mm disc at the rear. The motorcycle rides on 17-inch alloy wheels.
The motorcycle is powered by a 649cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that produces a maximum power output of 67bhp at 8000rpm and a peak torque output of 64Nm at 6700rpm.
The engine comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox with slipper clutch and assist. This engine setup is also found in the Ninja 650 and Versys 650.
The company has already started taking bookings for the new motorcycle. For this, customers can contact the official site of the manufacturer or the nearest dealership. The motorcycle is offered in India only in Metallic Matte Carbon Grey colour.
