JEE Advanced 2024 Exam

The Joint Entrance Examination or JEE is very prestigious and competitive in India. It takes place once every year and offers admission to the premium and prestigious Engineering and Science colleges of the country. The JEE Advanced 2024 exam date is scheduled for May 26, 2024. 

The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is conducted in two phases in the country: Mains and Advanced. It is attempted by a lack of aspirants in the country who want to get admitted to the best engineering colleges in India. The examination faces a lot of competition as the selection ratio is very low for JEE. The JEE Advanced examination is only valid for students who have qualified for the JEE Mains examination. The number of applicants that are accepted for this examination is huge and only a very small number of students move ahead with the Mains examination onto the Advanced one. 

For the JEE Advanced 2024 eligibility, the applicant needs to secure a rank in the top 2.5 Lakh holders in the JEE Mains exam. The test is conducted in two stages: Paper 1 and Paper 2. It covers Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics from Classes 11th and 12th of the CBSE Board. 

The official dates for the JEE Advanced 2024 have been announced. This important examination is conducted by the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras. The JEE Advanced 2024 organizing institute this year is IIT, Madras. One of the 7 major IITs takes it upon themselves to conduct the exam. 

The JEE Advanced 2024 expected date is May 26, 2024. Registration for the examination will begin on April 21, 2024. The registration closes on May 5, 2024. The expected result date is June 18, 2024. 

The JEE Advanced examination consists of two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. It is conducted on the same day and consists of three hours each. The syllabus of the examination consists of three subjects: Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The syllabus is taken from the NCERT books of the concerned subjects. The NCERT books are prescribed for the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Board students.

The JEE exam is a computer-based test (CBT) that will be conducted by IIT Madras across the country this year.   • Candidates should have been born on or after October 1999.

  • The candidates should rank in the top 2.5 Lakh rank holders for the Mains examination to be qualified for Advanced 2024. 
  • Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination (Class 12) with at least 75% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. However, it is 65% for SC, ST and OBC candidates. 75% is for General or unreserved candidates. 

The JEE Advanced 2024 fee is different across different categories and candidates. The candidate needs to pay the registration fee to move ahead with their application. The fees for the Advanced Examination 2024 are as follows: 

  • Females (all categories): ₹1600 
  • SC, ST, PwD Candidates: ₹1600 
  • All Other Candidates: ₹3200
  • Candidates Residing in SAARC Countries: 100 USD 
  • Candidates Residing in non-SAARC Countries: 200 USD

This test is conducted to recruit trainees for the Indian Army, Air Force, and Navy. The NDA Entrance test recruits qualified students for the Indian Armed Forces’ Joint Services College.
