Suryakumar Yadav, who got out for 0 in 2 out of the 4 matches played in this tournament, has also scored 2 fifties. His second half-century came against Punjab Kings. Suryakumar Yadav top-scored with 78 off 53 balls also he hit 7 fours and 3 sixes in his innings. Interestingly, Suryakumar Yadav scored a half-century but he achieved a special milestone because of the number of balls.

Mumbai Indians won the match by an innings and 192 runs. For Punjab, Harshal Patel took 3 wickets for 31 runs.

Jasprit Bumrah was  the hero of Mumbai Indians wins. The right-hander dismissed Rilee Rousseau and Punjab skipper Sam Curran in his very first over. The ball on which Russo got out was really amazing. Bumrah dismissed the Punjab batsman on an in-swinging yorker. Bumrah's third victim was Shashank Singh. Shashank was batting well but Bumrah trapped him on his slower ball.

Ashutosh Sharma and Shashank Singh made the match exciting

Shashank Singh and Ashutosh Sharma once again showed their batting. Shashank scored 41 off just 25 balls with the help of 3 sixes and 2 fours. Ashutosh scored 61 runs off just 28 balls. Ashutosh hit 7 sixes in his innings and his strike rate was more than 217. However, Ashutosh got out in the 18th over and in the end Punjab lost the match by 9 runs.
