Indian Police Force

Siddharth Malhotra and Shilpa Shetty's explosive action in Rohit Shetty's 'Indian Police Force' has created a blast. This series can now be watched on Amazon Prime Video. Let’s read the review here...

Indian Police Force Review: Sidharth Malhotra makes his OTT debut with Rohit Shetty and Sushant Prakash's police action thriller 'Indian Police Force'. The series has been released on Amazon Prime Video.

The series begins with the planning of 6 bomb attacks in different parts of the Indian capital Delhi. Sidharth Malhotra (Kabir Malik) and Vivek Oberoi (Vikram Bakshi) play the roles of Special Cell Unit officers involved in the terrorist attacks planned on Delhi Police Foundation Day. Putting their own safety at risk they prevent several attacks, but about 250 people still die during the explosions. Amidst this, the conversation of both Siddharth and Vivek is heard.

After this Shilpa Shetty makes a spectacular entry. As a senior officer from Ahmedabad, Shilpa dominates the series as soon as she arrives. She helps Delhi Police in searching for the main accused. While achieving the goal of catching the criminal, one dies. The breakdown scene of both Sidharth Malhotra and Shweta Tiwari comes at the same time. In such a situation, both are seen sharing their sorrow.

Direction of Indian Police Force

Indian Police Force

The web series does not make false claims about the Indian Police Force and their working style. It sticks to the basic and premise, perhaps this is the USP of this series. Rohit Shetty has not made any shocking changes in the story or the last moments of the series, that is, he has not added anything extra to the film, neither the action nor the super action. The action shown in the series seems largely relay-like.

It does not have unrealistic action and dialogues like 'Singham'. The story progresses smoothly and Shilpa Shetty is able to catch the terrorist after many years of struggle. Looking at the plot of the story, it is understood that its second part should also be made.

The story has been kept straight to the point. It has not been drawn much. There is no tension in the story to make any scene longer. Not much time has been spent in making it more emotional than reality. 'Indian Police Force' gives an insight into how police officers balance their work and personal life, But the series doesn't put too much emphasis on the personal front. Crime cases are shown in series, happening one after the other and the police trying to solve them are running out of time. You don't feel bored with things happening sequentially.

The best part of the series was the action scenes between Sidharth Malhotra and Mayank Tandon. It reminded me of the scene in Nana Patekar's 'The Attacks of 26/11' where the lead actor confronts Kasab, but if you are looking forward to Rohit Shetty style action then you will have to be patient for 4 episodes.

Indian Police Force Star Cast

Siddharth Malhotra is as simple and calm in real life as he is seen to be equally crazy onscreen. The emotional scene of Vivek 's death is shown in the series, after which the fire of revenge awakens in the character of Siddharth Malhotra. Although Shilpa Shetty has not been able to show much strength in the beginning of the series, but in the end she performs powerful action. Are visible. Vivek Oberoi has his own unique swag in 'Indian Police Force'. Playing the role of a father to a 10-year-old child shows his extraordinary love for children, which even puts him in danger twice.

Esha Talwar as Rashmi Malik (Malhotra's love interest) is so sweet that you will want to see more of her. Mayank Tandon as Jarar (the villain) has more romantic scenes than Siddharth. Tandon has done a fantastic job in the series and has tried her best to show the other side of every coin. The supporting cast includes Shweta Tiwari as Shruti, Ruturaj Singh as Rafiq, Nikitin Dheer as Rana and Mukesh Rishi and Officer Kelkar as Jaideep Bansal all are excellent in their roles.

Kelkar also has a perfect entry in the series and makes his presence felt. Vaidehi Parasurami as Nafisa and Shruti Panwar as Uniyaja deserve praise for bringing authenticity to their characters. The best thing about 'Indian Police Force' is its perfect casting.

Nutshell of Indian Police Force series

There are many police-based OTT series and when you compare the 'Indian Police Force' series with them, you may feel that the OTT debut of Rohit Shetty and Sidharth Malhotra could have been even better, but while watching the series, you will get exactly that feeling. It won't feel like time has been wasted. Overall, you can watch the 'Indian Police Force' series at least once. This 7-episode based web show is also setting a perfect base for its second season. This series is available on Amazon Prime Video.
