Hero has launched the Xoom 160 with liquid cooled power. It is powered by a 156cc single cylinder engine. It produces 14bhp at 8,000rpm and 13.7 Nm of torque at 6,500rpm. The scooter comes with the company's patented i3s stop-start technology, called Silent Starter.
The Hero Xoom 160 will compete with the Yamaha Aerox 155. It is expected priced start at Rs 1.30 lakh onwards.
The scooter features sporty and styling as compared to the Xoom 110, with the 14-inch wheels being its highlight feature. The model also comes with segment-first sequential LED turn indicators and all-LED lighting. The Xoom 125R will also get a fully digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity and will be able to incorporate turn-by-turn navigation as well.
This model is equipped with telescopic forks at the front and twin shocks at the rear. The braking setup includes disc brakes on both ends along with ABS.
Other features of the new Zoom 160 will include all-LED lighting, a smart key and ignition dial, remote key ignition, digital console, and Bluetooth connectivity.
