Gautam Gambhir Retires from Politics: Gautam Gambhir has explained the reason behind his decision to focus on cricket. He also thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah for their support.

In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections cricketer Gautam Gambhir had registered a big victory in the East Delhi seat. The former Indian cricketer had won the Lok Sabha elections by a huge margin of 3,90,000 votes, defeating AAP's Atishi and Congress leader Arvinder Singh Lovely. Gambhir entered the electoral fray for the first time and won.
