Construction Style of the Lord Ram Temple

The Ram temple in Ayodhya is built in the Nagara style of architecture. The Ram Mandir Trust has given information about this on the social media site X. Basically; there are three types of Indian Hindu architecture - Nagara, Bessar and Dravidian.

The Sitakupa of the Puranic period will be near the temple. Temples dedicated to Maharshi Valmiki, Maharshi Vashishtha, Maharshi Vishwamitra, Maharshi Agastya, Nishadraj, Mata Shabari and Hrishipati Devi Ahilya will be built in the temple itself. The ancient temple of Lord Shiva on the Navratna Kuber Tila in the south-west has been renovated. A Jatayu statue has been erected at the spot.

Temple Has Total three Stories

The Ram temple will have three floors. Each floor will be 20 feet high. It measures 380 feet in length, 250 feet in width and 161 feet in height. The temple has 392 pillars. It has four entrances. A total of 9,800 idols will be on the pillars, while there will be more than 10 thousand idols on the walls. There will be a circular enclosure around the temple.

The total length of the ramparts in all four directions will be 732 metres. Its height is 14 meters. The outer wall of this rampart will be open towards the temple, while the outer wall will be closed. Devotees can visit the temple for darshan. One hundred bronze panels will be installed in the perimeter. These will have pictures of the ideals of Lord Ram.

How will be the doors at Lord Ram Temple in Ayodhya?

Artisans from Tamil Nadu are making doors for the Ram temple in Ayodhya. Pictures of lotus, peacock and other birds can be seen on these doors. There are idols of gods and goddesses on the walls and pillars of the temple. This has enhanced the beauty of the temple. According to the information received, the doors of the sanctum sanctorum in which the idol of Ram Lalla with a small innocence of five years will be there will also be very different.

The doors will be 8 feet high, 12 feet wide and 6 inches thick. There will be idols of Ram Katha on the periphery of the Ram temple and idols of elephant and lion on the Singhadwara.

There will be seven temples outside the ramparts: The first will be Maharishi Valmiki, the second will be Maharishi Vashishtha, the third will be Maharishi Vishwamitra, the fourth will be Maharishi Agastya, the fifth will be Nishadraj, the sixth will be Mata Shabri and the seventh will be Devi Ahilya. Total Five Mandap are in the Lord Ram Temple (Pavilions)

Five pavilions named Nritya, Rang, Sabha, Prarthana and Kirtan will be on the three floors of the Ram temple. The center of faith and belief in it is the dance pavilion. That is why Prarthana Mandap, Kirtan Mandap and Ranga Mandap have different significance according to their names. The ground floor work has been completed, but the first and second floors are still going on. To enter the temple, one has to climb 32 steps from the east direction.

The temple will have separate facilities for the elderly and the disabled. People will be able to see the temple through lifts and ramps. Ram Darbar will be in the first temple and there will be pictures of lord Ram, Janaki, Laxman and Hanuman.
