Ravindra Jadeja and KL Rahul have been ruled out of the series due to injuries. The second Test will be played in Visakhapatnam from February 2. While Team India suffered losses due to the injury of these two, 3 players got the benefit. The selection committee included Sarfaraz Khan, Washington Sundar and Saurabh Kumar in the squad.

Can Sarfaraz make his debut?

In the 2022-23 Ranji Trophy, Sarfaraz scored 556 runs in six matches. Overall, Sarfaraz has scored runs consistently in his first-class career. Sarfaraz, who has played 45 matches so far, has a total of 3912 runs with the bat, in which he has an average of 69.85. Not only this, these runs have also come at a fast strike rate of 70. Sarfaraz has scored 14 centuries and 11 half-centuries and 301 (not out) is his highest score. Although, will he get a chance to make his debut in the second Test? it looks difficult at the moment as Rajat Patidar is also in line apart from him.
