Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, on 10 June 2023, announced the introduction of "Ladli Behna Yojna," under which women residing in Madhya Pradesh will receive Rs 1000 every month for their economic empowerment. 

The Yojna aims to help fulfill women's health and nutritional needs. Later, Chief Minister Ladli Behna Yojana, on 27 August, reported that this amount was increased to Rs 1250. Women started receiving the said amount in their bank accounts every month. On the same day, the Chief Minister also announced that the price would gradually hike to Rs 3000 per month, giving MP women enough reasons to celebrate.

Under the said scheme, the Chief Minister promised to provide financial assistance of Rs 1250 every month to approximately 1.25 crore women in Madhya Pradesh, aged between 23 and 60 years. Women eligible for the Ladli Behna Yojna must have a family's annual income of less than 2.5 lakh rupees annually. Additionally, she should not be paying income tax.

2. If a woman is below the age of 60 years and already receiving less than Rs. 1000/- per month under any other Social Security Pension Scheme, then that woman will be reimbursed up to Rs. 1250/.

5. Enter the OTP.
