Updated BCCI central contract List: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the list of players' contracts for the year 2023-24 on February 28. A total of 30 players were included in the list. But now this list has been changed. The BCCI's central contract list now has 32 players instead of 30. Two new players have been added to the central contract.
How much Money Sarfaraz and Dhruv will get now?
India's new batting star Sarfaraz Khan and wicketkeeper Dhruv Jurel have been included in the central contract list if they meet the criteria of playing three Tests in the current season. Both the players are placed in Group C. Their names were cleared at the BCCI Apex Council meeting held on Monday. These two players will now be given Rs 1 crore annually by the BCCI.
Grade A Plus - Usually, players in this grade get Rs 7 crore per year. The Grade A+ Players are Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah and Ravindra Jadeja
Grade A - These players will be given Rs 5 crore annually. The grade A players are R Ashwin, Mohammed Shami, Mohammed Siraj, KL Rahul, Shubman Gill and Hardik Pandya.
Grade B - Players in Grade B are paid Rs 3 crore annually. The grade B players are Suryakumar Yadav, Rishabh Pant, Kuldeep Yadav, Axar Patel and Yashasvi Jaiswal.
Updated Grade C by BCCI: These players get Rs 1 crore annually. The grade c players are Rinku Singh, Tilak Verma, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Shardul Thakur, Shivam Dube, Ravi Bishnoi, Jitesh Sharma, Washington Sundar, Mukesh Kumar, Sanju Samson, Arshdeep Singh, KS Bharat, Prasidh Krishna, Avesh Khan and Rajat Patidar, Sarfaraz Khan and Dhruv Jurel.
