The Ram temple in Ayodhya is all set for a grand ceremony. A total of three floors have been built in the temple, here see the full details of what will be built on all three floors of the temple.
Not only India but the whole world is celebrating the inauguration of Ram Mandir. The Ram temple in Ayodhya is being built in three floors, the height of each floor will be 20 feet. The Ram temple, being built in the Nagara style, will have a glimpse of north and south India. The entire temple will have a total of 392 pillars and 44 gates.
Ayodhya Ram Temple: Ground Floor Details
On the ground floor, a sanctum sanctorum has been built where the child form of Lord Ram i. e. Shriram Lalla will be seated. According to the Ram Mandir Teerth Kshetra Trust, the length (east to west) of the temple will be 380 feet, width 250 feet and height 161 feet. According to the trust, 160 pillars have been erected in the ground floor, on which the roof of the temple rests. In the first phase of the temple construction, 5 pavilions including the sanctum sanctorum have been built on the ground floor, Nritya Mandap, Ranga Mandap, Gudh Mandap (Assembly Mandap), Prarthana Mandap and Kirtan Mandap.
In the first phase itself, 'Singh Dwar', the entrance to the temple, has been constructed. The entrance to the temple will be by climbing 32 steps from the Singh Gate built in the east. The height of 32 stairs is a total of 16.5 ft. Ramps and lifts have been arranged for the disabled and the elderly to climb the temple. According to the website of the trust, the main ground floor of the temple will have 12 gates, while the total number of doors will be 44.
In the ground floor of the temple itself, the parkota has been built around the temple, the total length of which is 732 meters and the width is 4.25 meters. Four temples have been built on the four corners of the parkota. Among these are the temples of Lord Surya, Shankar, Ganapati and Devi Bhagwati. The temple of Hanuman ji is built in the southern part of the fort and the temple of Annapurna Mata is built in the northern part.
Ayodhya Ram Temple: Frist Floor Details
According to the information given on the website of Ram Mandir Teerth Kshetra Trust, 132 pillars will be constructed on the first floor of the temple, that is, the number of pillars will be reduced from the ground floor to the first floor. Just above the sanctum sanctorum on the first floor will be the court of Maryada Purushottam Lord Shri Ram. This is where the throne will be installed, on which Lord Shri Ram will sit as king along with Mata Janaki and brother Lakshman. Veer Hanuman will also be seen sitting here.
Apart from the Ram Darbar on the first floor of the temple, other temples will also be there. On the first floor of the temple, there will be a balcony all around, from where devotees will be able to see the shadow of Ayodhya.
Ayodhya Ram Temple: Second Floor Details
According to report from a member of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust, the construction work of the temple has been divided into three phases. As soon as the first phase is completed, the second phase will begin. Work on the third floor will begin after the completion of the second floor. Devotees will not be able to go to the third floor. Only the mandapam close to the temple will be built on this floor.
According to the website of the Ram Mandir Teerth Kshetra Trust, only 74 pillars will be built on the third floor, on which the peak of the tallest mandap will rest. At present, during the consecration of the temple, the entire formation of the temple has been given in the upper form with the help of wooden design.
