The details and spy shots revealed so far show that the Ather Rizta electric scooter is not like the sporty Ather 450 series. Instead, they are designed for families with a focus on comfort and practicality. In terms of practicality, the company claims that this scooter will get the largest seat in the segment, the pictures of which were recently shared by the company's CEO Tarun Mehta.
The Ather Rizta will come with horizontal integrated LED headlights and taillights. The teaser that the company has released shows the new electric scooter in ultrasound. The new Ather 450 will be the brand's first electric scooter in India. The company would like to give a great experience to scooter riders and pillion riders.
The Rizta e-scooter is expected to borrow some features from Ather's current lineup. It could include a fully digital instrument panel, with touchscreen capabilities and smartphone connectivity. It is also expected to include different ride modes, quick charging, and navigation assistance.
The Rizta could offer better range and performance than other Ather models, possibly due to the new battery and motor configuration that will increase its range. The Rizta will be officially unveiled at the Ather Community Day event on April 6.
Ather's new electric scooter could be bigger in size and comfortable. The Rizta's design could be different from the 450 range of electric scooters. Ather Rizta competes with Bajaj Chetak electric scooter, TVS iQube and the Tata Gravitas in India.
