Aditya LI mission ISRO is the next big thing after the successful Chandrayan -3. It seems India is all set to take the global space genre by storm with its space research programmes. Aditya L1 mission will help in understanding the dynamics of the central star of our solar system and its weather conditions.
Teehafun brings for its readers all the information about India’s tryst with The Sun.
Aditya L1 mission will observe the dynamics of the Sun and how these impact the Earth. Yet another milestone in the mission to explore space, this mission by ISRO has been lauded by space research organizations worldwide. India’s first solar space observatory will study the sun from the orbit around L1. It is expected that Aditya L1 will be sending across 1440 images per day for analysis after it reaches its destination.
ISRO has used the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle-“PSLV-XL” variant which is C-57 for carrying the spacecraft.
India’s maiden mission to the sun by ISRO will be etched in history in golden letters. Aditya L1 mission ISRO will give an insight into coronal mass injection, coronal heating, pre-flare and flare activities and their characteristics, propagation of fields, space weather etc.
Along with ISRO, (Indian Space Research Organization), the following companies are involved in Aditya L1:
The successful launch of Aditya L1 mission ISRO is a testament to India’s deep indulgence in space research programmes. Backed by ISRO, this mission enhances India’s position in ground-breaking advancements in the global space industry. Though Aditya L1 is the brainchild of the team at ISRO, there are 2 Hyderabad based companies whose contribution cannot be undermined and these are:

Aditya L1 was launched aboard PSLV C57 on 2nd September’23.
It was launched on 2.09.23 at 11:50 IST.
It is expected that Aditya L1 will reach its observation point in 4 months. Aditya will be placed in a halo orbit around L1 or Lagrangian Point 1 which is 1.5 million kms away from the earth.
Aditya L1 is India’s mission to the sun and it will observe the solar atmosphere with major emphasis on chromosphere and corona. The dynamics of the Sun and Earth system will also be studied by Aditya L1
The coronagraph spacecraft, Aditya L1 is designed and developed by Indian Space Research Organization along with Inter University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics, Pune and Indian Institute of Astrophysics, Bengaluru.
India’s first mission to the sun performed a successful earth bound 4th manoeuvre and has attained the new orbit which is 256km*121973 km.
Launched on 2nd September’23, Aditya L1 is India’s first mission to study the moon from an approximate distance of 1.5 million kms. The spacecraft will be placed in a halo orbit around L1 (Lagrangian Point) of the Sun-Earth system and the objective of this mission is to provide a deep insight into the photosphere, solar corona, solar wind and chromosphere.

Conclusion
Studying the sun has never been easy because it is a hot ball of helium and hydrogen gases. The radiations and light emitted by the sun are harmful and Earth’s atmosphere acts as a filter and doesn’t let it enter its space. Thus, studying the sun from outside the Earth’s atmosphere will help in understanding a lot about the largest object in our solar system.
