But after coming here in Mumbai, I missed all these thingsKeeping this in mind, to provide fresh milk and ghee to the people, Kamaljeet Kaur started her own startup named Kimmu's Kitchen in the month of December 2020, in which Kamaljeet Kaur provides fresh pure milk and ghee to the people.
When Kamaljit Kaur started Kimmu's Kitchen, in the early days she used to buy milk from local vendors to make ghee, but the ghee made from the milk of the vendors there was not tasting like her home Punjab. So, he decided to get milk from his native place Ludhiana, Punjab, so that he could make ghee with a taste like Punjab.
After a few days of research on how to get milk from Ludhiana to Mumbai, Kamaljeet started sourcing milk directly from Ludhiana. Kamaljeet said that although there are many ways to make ghee, but we use the Bilona method to make our ghee. In the Bilona method, we make ghee directly from curd, but most of the ghee that comes in the market is made from butter or cream.
Let us also tell you that Kamaljeet Kaur has put the main unit of making ghee made from Bilona in Ludhiana city, from where the most prepared ghee from Bilona is made and then all this prepared ghee is sent to Mumbai city for packaging.
If we talk about the price of ghee prepared from the billona of Kimmu's Kitchen, then they currently have 3 types of ghee for retail. The 3 types of ghee that they have for retail are 220 ml, 500 ml and 1 litre. The price of 220 ml of ghee is around Rs 399, and then as the quantity of ghee increases, its price keeps increasing.
